Janet Indick
As an artist and as a woman, I react to what is around me. Nature, art, architecture music and even current events motivate me to create my metal sculptures. I transform these rigid raw materials by manipulation of simple geometric shapes patterning curves, angles and lines that interact with the space surrounding them. Like a choreographer, I connect, these parts into a fluid whole that exhibits movement, energy, symmetry and balance. I invite each viewer to explore my spaces from many perspectives and to connect their experiences of the world with my own.
