June Kluglein

June is a largely self taught realistic artist specializing in watercolors and limited edition prints expressing her deep love of nature. She has lived all her life on Long Island, New York.

Her subject matter, nature, is a link with her beliefs and concerns for our planet. She was not aware in her early career days that her art was the way she could convey her feelings about nature to others: how precious it all is and how we must protect it.

Just as music or a poem can be an emotional or spiritual experience, so is looking at art. The feeling a piece conveys is, to her, the criteria of a fine art work, be it realistic or abstract.

June has enjoyed contributing her artwork to different environmental groups throughout the years. Her watercolors and prints have won many awards in juried exhibitions and gained devoted collectors throughout the United States.
