Our President's Message
Welcome to our 108th Annual Open Exhibition and we don’t look a day older! Once again we are fortunate to hold our exhibition in the handsome and historic National Arts Club. The board of directors of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club is grateful for the continued support of our friends at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Grace Church and the National Arts Club. Our Club’s mission is to provide and promote opportunities for women artists. This year the jury of selection picked 270 from 587 entries. CLWAC is very proud of the art presented in our show. The participants represent a cross-section of artists from both America and Europe. We congratulate this year’s participants and award winners. Preparing for an exhibit such as this requires the better part of a year; talent, energy and countless untold hours go into the planning and execution of the show and its catalog. We thank the juries, judges, board of directors and committees who worked together and the volunteers who helped register, hang and arrange this show. This exhibition is a credit to all their efforts.
